Technology is always looking for new ways to charge our smartphones and many products such as polar devices, big and light wired powerbank or a novelty existed in the past. they weren’t always cheap and very limited especially those who are custom made and unique.
Until i came across a old kickstarter project which funded Finger Pow. i missed out on getting one.
But fortunately they had a online website where you can purchase one even those they were in USD and being australian we pay more cause (TAXES 😦 WHY?). kickstarter had issue of delivery and delays i was skeptical of their project at first but loved the concepts. so decided to buy the base charger, the 4 charging packs (They what they were called- to me i call it magnetic charger or powerbank) they were promised to shipped within 20days and surprising they did deliver my products and i loved it. Great design and compact feet.
However the only minor negative was tiny battery of 600 Mah. it was small but with 2-4 of it it was enough for half a day or whole morning, And the charger it came with doesn’t charge the charging packs which suck only can be done on charging base.
Until they introduced a second versions called finger pow II.
Better better: 1100mah
Better charger: can charge the v2.0 without base
Slightly larger and thicker design due to battery increase.
While the first versions charge about 20-25% the v2.0 charge about 30-35. i always carry two of each, for morning and light and they last me whole day as long im not streaming or using much data on 3G.
Overall world first true magnetic powerbank and it compact, easy to carry and cheap to buy online. They can be purchased at fingerpow.co.
There also another magnetic powerbank being funded on a different site called Indiegogo. The product is called Lightr and was successfully funded and currently being shipped since july 2019. they are slow in processing orders as of today 16/8/19 i ordered 5 and still yet to receive mine to test and experiment and compare.
However specs wise, they are way better than Fingerpow.

Colours: Black and red, (They decided not to do bright colours – BOO 😦 i wanted to have red one).
features: Bluetooth to show lightr battery status, led light to show battery life and can charge any devices phones, laptop, gaming controllers with connector tips (Micro USB, lightning and USB-C). Most of the images are from the website to show sample of what they look like.
