Time is rough and with organisation like coles and Woolworths who made record profits during covid who had the audacity to increase price and ignore struggles of the community and buyers.
The government failed to take action and letting them get away with ruining people lives and it worse for people who had problem buying homes or renting. Being casual worker was bad for anyone despite high rates and casual loading there was no guarantee of hours and shifts and as you get older you will be replaced by younger worker who are worse and bad at their job who doesn’t make their KPI or effort with customer service.
Living in sydney is hard and securing a job that can help financially and mentally. the lack of support from government make living hard. companies don’t care about supporting their staffs and continued on drop and replace people with high turnovers and i experienced that first hand being replaced by younger staff who was useless at her job and stole my shifts and hours at my previous job GANT. They are useless company who doesn’t respect people and had 6 casual turnover in less than 6months
I only wish i secure a permanent job where my time, experience and skills is valued where I’m not discriminated cause of my hearing loss disability and screwed over replaced by younger worker
